Annual Ethiopian Adoption Picnic ~ Toronto Area Children’s Photographer

Today we spent a wonderful day at the beach in Toronto with families that have adopted from Ethiopia. These are some of the most gorgeous children!! (and I am not biased ;-)

Story People ~Toronto Children’s Photographer~

I adore the story people quotes!!! I always seem to be able to find wonderful ones to accompany my pictures when I can’t think of the right words!!

Love ~ Toronto children’s photographer

The light is gorgeous, Preston’s face is too adorable!! But more then that is the love I can feel from Cara. That really stood out for me today. That is what I love so much about photographing families. The interaction and the love they show each other. It is so obvious in this picture how Cara feels about her son!

Black and White ~ Toronto Area Children’s Photographer

I am such a sucker for black and white portraits. When I used to shoot with film I remember buying alot of black and white. When I first started converting digital pictures to black and white I did NOT like them. They were really flat and grey and just not nice. Now that I have photoshop I have been learning all the different ways to convert a photo to black and white and the results are pretty amazing! BLOGGabbi Beach 3BW

Beach Day ~ Toronto Area Children’s Photographer

Today we woke to the sun shining bright and we decided to head to the beach. The water was cold.. but that didn’t stop my kids!!! I have a bunch more pics of the boys but I think that Gabbi’s dress should take centre stage here :-)

Storyboards ~ Toronto area children’s photographer

Just wanted to share something that I am now going to be offering my clients. They’re called Storyboards. Storyboards are a series of pictures or writings, quotes or poems. I have am in the process of getting a few made so I can show my clients. I am also going to be offering albums. And I am making one now with my previous sessions. Once I get a few pages done I will share them here.
