So today I am off to my first newborn shoot. I am really excited and a little nervous. I would be less nervous if it wasn’t pouring rain outside!! Which is going to make the lighting tricky. I do have a flash I can use if I absolutely have to. But I will try without first. I mush prefer natural light. The parents seem really easy going which is great.. hopefully they will be ok with the different poses I want to try.. I guess most importantly I hope baby is ok with them, lol.

Yesterday we had a little party for Ryan… he is so sweet!! I was sitting here  this morning thinking about what I was doing 9 years ago today. And in reality it wasn’t all sunshine and roses with my newborn baby. I had a very traumatic birth with him and I was in so much pain I couldn’t see straight.  Poor Mike had to learn real fast how to care for a newborn because it was all I could do to just sit up.. and I had to stay in the hospital for extra days  so Mike camped out in the chair beside my bed to help me. Anyways it turned out great in the end and I would do again a million times if that’s what it would take to get me my son.
